The Dallas Mavericks may be lacking in the height department, but against the Minnesota Timberwolves, they proved that heart and fight can overcome mere size. Led by the stellar duo of Luka Doncic (34 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists) and Kyrie Irving (35 points, 6 3-pointers, 8 rebounds, 5 assists), the Dallas Mavericks overcame the absence of Derek Lively II to pull out a thrilling 115-108 victory.

Despite the Timberwolves‘ towering twin towers of Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns, the Mavericks refused to be bullied.“ Kidd admitted, „We knew our deficiencies, but we focused on the little things – rebounding, hustle, smart play. Those little things won us the win.“

The win was a testament to the Cavaliers‘ resilience and ability to overcome adversity. Doncic and Irving were on fire, proving that size isn’t everything and that sometimes grit and determination can overcome physicality.
